Steve Anderson is best known for his work with Kylie Minogue, having been her Musical Director since 1998 on every tour and event, including ‘Showgirl’, ‘Aphrodite - Les Folies’ and The Sydney Olympics.
He has also worked as Musical Director for Westlife (including their 2011 Proms In The Park performance with The BBC Concert Orchestra), Christophe Willem and the fabulous burlesque extravaganza ‘The Hurly Burly Show starring Miss Polly Rae'.
He has produced, written and remixed songs for Take That, Britney Spears, Westlife, The Pet Shop Boys, Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney. He also works with director William Baker, including on their version of the classic West End musical 'Rent'.
His songwriting credits include Kylie’s classic ‘Confide In Me’; Britney Spears' ‘Breathe On Me’ from her 8 million selling ‘In The Zone’ album (the track went on to become the soundtrack for her perfume advert); plus songs for Westlife and Christophe Willem.
He produced a Kylie album at Abbey Road to celebrate her 25th Anniversary in 2012, and also worked on a West End Musical based on Kylie songs.
