The hype keeps building, the records keep selling, the Youtube views keep clocking and the shows keep filling - Melbourne rapper 360 is undoubtedly the break-out Australian artist of 2012.
With his second album ‘Falling and Flying’, 360 has racked up a number of staggering statistics including over 500,000 records sold, a Top 5 ARIA album and single, a Channel V ‘Artist of the Year’ Award, millions of Youtube views and 4 sold-out national tours.
Now 6 singles deep, ‘Falling and Flying’ is a record of special moments. ‘Boys Like You’ (featuring Gossling) has sold in excess of 4xPlatinum status and become an anthem for jilted lovers the country over. The heart-felt follow-up ‘Child’ hurtles towards 2xPlatinum status and continues to infiltrate Australian commercial radio, whilst the club flavored ‘Killer’ amassed ARIA Gold Status and featured as a major highlight in the notorious 360 live set that has demolished sold-out club and festival stages throughout Australia.
New single ‘Run Alone’ has just been unleashed upon Australian radio and early signs are positive as it also begins its ascent up the ARIA Singles chart.
Never one to be complacent, Sixty has already set about writing the eagerly anticipated follow-up to ‘Falling and Flying’. Again working with long-time collaborator and producer Styalz Fuego, Sixty has also spent time in London writing with the likes of Agent X (Tinie Tempah), Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Lana Del Ray) and Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran).
